System Requirements

System Components

The SmartIQ system can be installed in a variety of deployment models, from a single machine deployment through to more complex server farms with database clusters.

Depending on the deployment model your client and server systems may include the following:

This section lists the minimum system requirements recommended to run SmartIQ in a low demand environment such as for development or testing. These requirements should be scaled appropriately according the needs of the target environment, especially for production use.

Web Server

IIS Web Server	Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 8.5 or later with the following additional features enabled: Application Development Features ASP.NET Core 3.1 (Hosting Bundle) Common HTTP Features Default Document HTTP Errors Static Content Performance Features Dynamic Content Compression (optional) Static Content Compression (optional) Security Request Filtering
Operating System Dependencies	Microsoft .NET Core 3.1 Hosting Bundle (installed after IIS Web Server)

Database Server

Operating System	Supported server operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 Supported client operating systems: Microsoft Windows 8.1 / 10
SQL Server	Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP4 / 2014 / 2016 SP2 / 2017 / 2019 Express or higher editions Features (Optional but recommended): Full Text Search Cloud version equivalents such as Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS configured as supported versions are also included.

End User Client (Web)

Operating System	Any that support the web browsers listed below

While SmartIQ Offline Apps support offline use, devices will require a network connection to Produce when synchronizing information.
