Windows App
Description
The Windows application allows users to interact with Infiniti via a native application rather than a web browser. It also allows offline operation - form definitions are loaded from the server and submissions are cached until a connection is re-established.
Installation
An installation of Infiniti includes the setup file for the Windows app at {{ProduceUrl}}/client/infiniti.application
- where {{ProduceUrl}}
is the base URL of the Infiniti instance. Accessing this URL from Internet Explorer will prompt the user to install the application to the user's machine.
Requires Windows 10 - version 1803
Application manifest errors
Note that as it is a ClickOnce application (which is a Microsoft technology) other browsers might have problems when downloading or running the file. If errors are encountered when accessing the URL from a non-IE browser, try using IE instead.
Running the app
Once installed, the application can be launched from the Start menu, where it will be listed as "Infiniti Client", in the folder "Intelledox Pty Ltd". If desired it can be pinned to the Start Menu or the Taskbar like any other application.
Launching the app will present the user with a list of forms and answer files (similar to Produce via a web browser) or, if applicable, the user's home dashboard.
Uninstalling
If the application is no longer needed it can be removed via the Windows "Add or Remove Programs" tool.
