Detailed error messages for Workflow

The Workflow system can communicate and give feedback to the user. If the current state has not met the required conditions, then a detailed error message will appear to warn the user that a mandatory step has not been accomplished before progressing on to the next state.

Missing mandatory comment

This error message occurs when a mandatory comment is required for the next step.

Solution: Enter a comment on the comment bar.

Next state has not been selected

This error occurs when the user has not selected a task for the following step. The workflow has more than one branch for the state to transition to.

Solution: Choose a next step for the task.

No user has been selected

This error message occurs if a user has not been selected.

Solution: Choose a pre-existing user to assign the workflow to.
