Navigating within a form

SmartIQ allows a number of mechanisms for changing page within a form.

These are:

  • the left-hand navigation menu
  • the "previous" and "next" buttons
  • Button questions with the "Go To Page" action type
  • the pg URL query parameter

The pg query string parameter takes a page name to display. For instance in a form with pages named "First" and "Second", passing the parameter pg=Second on the query string will cause the page titled "Second" to be displayed. This allows a link within text (for instance in a Label question) to be used to navigate pages.
